Assignment Description

We are seeking a Design Engineer – Mechatronics to support our client. You will be part of a highly motivated team responsible for developing next-generation powertrains for battery and petrol handheld products used in forestry and urban environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform 3D and 2D design of electromechanical components
• Conduct electromechanical concept design and support feasibility studies
• Engage in new product development and improvements to existing products
• Collaborate with squads and teams to support deliveries and manage internal/external relationships

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in mechanical design
• Proficiency in design tools such as CATIA V5, Office Suite, and Matlab
• Strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
• Fluent in English

Preferred Qualifications (Meritorious)

• Experience with Smarteam
• Knowledge in the design of light metal, machining, and molding tools
• Experience in embedded systems and mechatronics
• Understanding of high-volume product development
• Familiarity with electromechanical components, including wiring and PCBs
