Job Description

Your responsibilities:

• Develop system solution proposals based on NXP products applications in the industrial space and present in front of customers and peers.
• Provide strong technical expertise supporting design-in activities. Assist customers on site in evaluation of silicon support HW reviews of customer application board schematics.
• Support the Quality organization in analyzing Customer Quality Incidents (CQIs).
• Contribute to research on the competitive landscape, help to assess the NXP offerings and assist in generation of collateral to identify device/system-level differentiation from competition.
• Close cooperation with Sales and Marketing on project identification and proposals to customers.
• Leverage customer meetings to gather intelligence about the customers’ end product plans and relevant silicon requirements, communicate the collected information to the product groups.
• Identify new features for NXP semiconductor products to meet future market requirements.
• Assist in the development of technical collateral for internal or customer use (e.g. Application Notes, Engineering Bulletin, etc.). Support trade shows and technical society meetings.

Your profile:

• Ideally some experience in the related field through working student or intern activities
• Good knowledge about low and high level programming languages to aid embedded system debugging and development
• Good knowledge of analog circuit design and knowledge about Analog and Mixed Signal ICs
• Good knowledge about switch mode regulator applications and designs and linear regulators
• Ideally some experience in design/systems engineering and/or field application engineering
• Capable of establishing open and trusting relationships with customers
• High degree of flexibility, self-motivation and business orientation
• Ability of solving problems in front of clients by yourself
• Education/studies: BSEE required, MSEE preferred
• Good written and verbal communication/presentation skills in English
