About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Administrator / Accountant with approximately 2 years of experience in accounting or finance. The ideal candidate has hands-on knowledge of Swedish and EU import/export regulations, is capable of handling VAT declarations, and can assist with annual reporting.

This role also involves close collaboration with our head office in China, where you will be responsible for providing regular financial reports and administrative support as needed. Strong communication skills and cross-cultural understanding are essential.

Key Responsibilities

•Handle day-to-day accounting operations and general ledger entries

•Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly VAT declarations in Sweden and the EU

•Ensure compliance with Swedish and EU import/export and customs regulations

•Assist with annual financial reports and coordinate with auditors

•Perform bank reconciliations, manage invoicing, and maintain accurate records

•Support internal financial reporting to Chinese head office, including monthly reporting packages

•Assist the China-based finance team in cross-border coordination, internal requests, and group compliance tasks

•Participate in process improvements and support internal control efforts

Qualifications

•Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field

•Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience

•Knowledge of Swedish tax law, VAT rules, and customs procedures

•Experience working with import/export documentation and compliance

•Familiarity with financial reporting standards and annual closing procedures

•Experience with accounting software (e.g., Fortnox, Visma, SAP or similar)

•Strong Excel skills and ability to present financial data clearly

•Experience working in an international environment is a plus
