About this opportunity:
Grow with us at Ericsson! Join our Performance Engineering Unit in Kista, where we are responsible for systemizing, designing, implementing, and integrating software features to control the air interface in the 5G Radio Access Network (RAN). We are currently expanding our competence team focused on troubleshooting Baseband software issues. This team analyzes problems considering radio conditions, configuration feature combinations, and more.
As part of this role, you will collaborate closely with colleagues across Ericsson and partner organizations, including customer-facing teams and internal test groups, to ensure quick, accurate, and professional resolution of Baseband software issues. Our troubleshooting team is also advancing on an automation journey, moving into data analytics and machine learning, which will be an important aspect of your work.

What you will do:
* Troubleshoot reported Baseband software problems in depth to identify root causes and resolve issues.
* Collaborate with internal teams and partners globally to maintain system integrity and performance.
* Engage with customer-facing and test teams to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution.
* Support the transition towards automation, data analytics, and machine learning techniques in troubleshooting.
* The role is eligible for overtime based on project needs and workload.

What you bring:
* Extensive knowledge of 5G and LTE Radio Access Networks.
* Experience or strong interest in automation, data analytics, machine learning, and AI.
* Background in system design, testing, or programming related to Baseband software.
* Understanding of configuration management and troubleshooting tools is an advantage.
* Strong problem-solving skills, perseverance, and ability to work well under pressure.
* Technical degree (Bachelor's or higher) in a relevant field.
